How to fix Google Pixel no net issue?

In some cases, your Google Pixel might have trouble establishing a network connection. If you are unable to connect to the internet while using Saily eSIM, try troubleshooting the issue by following the steps below.

 

Check if the plan was activated

To make sure that your plan is active, follow the steps in our how to activate your Saily eSIM article.

 

Disconnect from the Wi-Fi

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Choose network and internet:

  3. Press on internet:

  4. Turn off Wi-Fi:

Check if eSIM is enabled and chosen as the preferred

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Select network and internet:

  3. Open SIMs:

  4. Tap on the installed eSIM (in this case, 1GLOBAL) and check if you are using it (the setting should be toggled on):

  5. Afterwards, scroll down and make sure that the mobile data option is enabled:

Check if Roaming is enabled

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Select network and internet:

  3. Open SIMs:

  4. Tap on the installed eSIM (in this case, 1GLOBAL) and check if you are using it (the setting should be toggled on):

  5. Be sure to enable roaming:

Reboot your Google Pixel device

  1. Press and hold the power button + volume up button for a few seconds

  2. Tap restart.

Disable 5G settings

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Select network and internet:

  3. Open SIMs:

  4. Tap on the installed eSIM (in this case, 1GLOBAL) and check if you are using it (the setting should be toggled on):

  5. Click on the preferred network type:

  6. Unselect 5G and choose the 4G or 3G option:

Select the Network Operator manually

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Select network and internet:

  3. Open SIMs:

  4. Tap on the installed eSIM (in this case, 1GLOBAL) and check if you are using it (the setting should be toggled on):

  5. Toggle the automatically select network function off:

  6. Select 1GLOBAL as your network provider. If no such option exists, please contact our Customer Support Agents.

Enable and disable the airplane mode

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Select network and internet:

  3. Press on the airplane mode to turn it on:

  4. Wait 15 seconds.
  5. Toggle Airplane mode back to the off position.

Configure APN (Access Point Name) settings

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Select network and internet:

  3. Open SIMs:

  4. Tap on the installed eSIM and scroll down a bit:

  5. Tap access point names (sometimes you may need to select advanced and then a ccess point names):

  6. Tap + or add:

  7. Enter the following details as provided below or as provided within the eSIM installation article:

  8. Input truphone.com in the name field:

  9. For the APN field, input truphone.com as well:

  10. Leave other fields blank.
  11. Tap the 3 dots at the top right and select save:

Reset your network settings

  1. Go to settings:

  2. Tap system:

  3. Select the reset options:

  4. Select reset Wi-Fi, mobile and Bluetooth:

  5. Press on reset settings:
