How do I install the Saily eSIM on my device?

In this article, you will learn how to install the Saily eSIM on your device. This is necessary so that your eSIM activates and that you can use it.

To install the Saily eSIM on your device, follow the section below according to your needs:

How do I install the Saily eSIM on my iOS device?

You can install Saily eSIM on your iOS in two ways:

One-Click Saily Setup on iOS

  1. Purchase an eSIM plan and click check your eSIM plan:

  2. Click install eSIM:

  3. You will be redirected to iPhone settings. Click allow on the activation prompt and continue with activation. It might take a few minutes to activate your eSIM.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions on your iPhone. For the default line, select your main SIM card, and for Mobile Data, choose your activated eSIM.

  5. Return to the Saily app. You will receive a notification confirming that the eSIM has been installed:

  6. Before traveling, make sure that your Saily eSIM is activated.

 Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your iOS device.

Manual Saily Setup on iOS

In case you are using an iOS device with an older operating system version than 17.4.1, you will need to follow the manual setup process:

  1. Purchase an eSIM plan and click check your eSIM plan:

  2. Click install eSIM:

  3. You will be provided with the installation instructions. Here, you will find the necessary setup details (SM-DP + address and activation code):

  4. Open your iPhone settings:

  5. Select mobile service (alternatively, it may be called cellular):

  6. Tap on add eSIM (the Primary SIM will usually be your physical SIM card):

  7. Choose use QR code:

  9. Copy and Paste the details from the Saily app, then click next. Activation may take a few minutes.

  10. Follow the on-screen instructions on your iPhone. Select your main SIM card for the Default line, and for Mobile Data, choose your activated eSIM. Your Saily eSIM may show up as 1GLOBAL, which is the Saily network provider.

  11. Return to the Saily app. You will receive a notification confirming that the eSIM has been installed.

How do I install the Saily eSIM on my Android device?

You can install Saily eSIM on your Android in two ways:

 

One-Click Saily eSIM Setup on Android

Follow these steps to set up Saily eSIM on most Android devices:

  1. Purchase an eSIM plan and click check your eSIM plan:

  2. Click install eSIM:

  3. You will receive a prompt on your device, click allow Saily to use your phone's eSIM:

  4. Click continue to perform installation, it might take a few minutes to activate your eSIM:

  5. In the Saily app, you will receive a notification confirming that the eSIM has been installed:

  6. Before traveling, make sure that your Saily eSIM is activated.

Manual Saily eSIM Setup on Android

If you are unable to follow the one-click installation steps above, try installing the Saily eSIM manually:

  1. Purchase an eSIM plan and click check your eSIM plan:

  2. Try to install it with one click, in case it works, proceed with the one-click setup guide:

  3. In case you have received the following error message about the Installation failure, click view instructions. Here, you will find the necessary setup details and guidance:

  4. Go to settings:

  6. Tap SIM manager:

  7. Click add eSIM:

Alternative Saily eSIM Setup Guide for Android with different settings

If you were unable to follow the Saily eSIM installation steps above, try the following:

  1. Purchase an eSIM plan. In the Saily app, navigate to eSIMs and select the purchased eSIM that you wish to i nstall.
  2. Try to install it with one click, in case it works, proceed with the one-click setup guide
  3. If you receive the following error message about the Installation failure, click view instructions. Here, you will find the necessary setup details and guidance.
  4. Go to settings.
  5. Select network & internet.
  6. Tap SIMs.
  7. Click add SIM.
  8. Click the download a new eSIM.
  9. Then click need help? and enter it manually under having trouble scanning your QR code?
  10. Input details that you have received in the view instructions and click continue.
  11. Tap download.
  12. When eSIM is installed, go back to settings > n etwork & internet > SIMs.
  13. Turn on the toggle button to activate eSIM.
  14. Turn on the buttons for mobile data and roaming.

Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your Android device.
