In this article, you will learn how to install the Saily eSIM on your device. This is necessary so that your eSIM activates and that you can use it.
To install the Saily eSIM, follow the section below according to your device:

If you do not have the Saily app already installed, you can check out how to install Saily eSIM on your device.
- Open the Saily app, and press install eSIM.
- Tap install eSIM once more:
- You will receive a prompt, tap continue.
You may need to wait a few minutes; after the setup is complete, you should see a screen like this, press done:
- Follow the on-screen instructions on your iPhone:
- Return to the Saily app. You will receive a notification confirming that the eSIM has been installed:
- Before traveling, make sure that your Saily eSIM is activated.
Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your iOS device.
In case you have contacted our customer support for a manual installation process, you can follow the steps below:
- You will be provided with the SM-DP+ address and activation code. Open your iPhone settings:
- Select mobile service (alternatively, it may be called cellular):
- Tap on add eSIM (the Primary SIM will usually be your physical SIM card):
- Choose use QR code:
- Select enter details manually or scan a QR code provided by our support team:
- Copy and Paste the details provided by our support team, then click next. Activation may take a few minutes. Note: If you have scanned a QR code, you can skip this step.
- Follow the on-screen instructions on your iPhone. Select your main SIM card for the Default line, and for Mobile Data, choose your activated eSIM. Your Saily eSIM may show up as 1GLOBAL, which is the Saily network provider.
- Return to the Saily app. You will receive a notification confirming that the eSIM has been installed.
- Before traveling, make sure that your Saily eSIM is activated.
Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your iOS device.
If you do not have the Saily app already installed, you can check out how to install Saily eSIM on your device.
- Open the Saily app, and press install eSIM.
- Click install eSIM once more:
- You will receive a prompt on your device, click allow Saily to use your phone's eSIM:
- Click continue to perform installation, it might take a few minutes to activate your eSIM:
- You should be able to see that eSIM has been installed here:
- Before traveling, make sure that your Saily eSIM is activated.
Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your Android device.
In case you have received the following error message about the installation failure, you will find the necessary setup details and guidance:
- Click view instructions.
- Go to settings:
- Select connections:
- Tap SIM manager:
- Click add eSIM:
- Click the scan QR code from the service provider:
- Click enter the activation code:

Input details that you have received in the view instructions and click connect:
- Tap add.
- When eSIM is installed, go again to settings > connections > SIM manager:
- Click mobile data:

Select the eSIM you have installed. Your Saily eSIM may show up as 1GLOBAL, which is the Saily network provider:
Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your Android device.
If you were unable to follow the Saily eSIM installation steps for Android, you can follow this alternative method:
- If you receive an error message about an installation failure, click view instructions.
- Go to settings.
- Select network & internet.
- Tap SIMs.
- Click add SIM.
- Click the download a new eSIM.
- Then click need help? and enter it manually under having trouble scanning your QR code?
- Input details that you have received in the view instructions and click continue.
- Tap download.
- When eSIM is installed, go back to settings > network & internet > SIMs.
- Turn on the toggle button to activate eSIM.
- Turn on the buttons for mobile data and roaming.
Your Saily eSIM is now installed on your Android device.
