Introduction
In this article, you will learn how to install the Saily eSIM on your iPhone or iPad running iOS using automatic or manual setup methods.
Prerequisites/Before you start:
- Double-check if your device is eSIM-compatible.
- Ensure the Saily app is installed on your iOS device.
- A stable Wi-Fi connection is required for the installation process.
Here's what to do
Install via the Saily app
- Open the Saily app and tap “Install eSIM”.
- Select which device you will be using the eSIM on and click “Continue”.
- Tap “Start eSIM install”.
- Tap “Activate”, wait a few moments and press “Continue”
- Choose where you will use your eSIM (Home or Abroad) and tap “Continue”.
- Select “Data Only” and tap “Continue”.
- Tap “Done” and go back to the Saily app.
- Once the main screen shows the eSIM is installed, press “Continue”.
- Follow the instructions to turn on the eSIM line, proceed by tapping on “Continue”.
- Now you will need to select Saily eSIM to use mobile data, do so by following the instructions in the app.
- Ensure it is activated before traveling.
Manual install via settings
If you are performing a manual installation with details provided by support or the app:
- Open “Settings” and select “Mobile Service (or Cellular)”.
- Tap “Add eSIM” and select “Use QR Code”.
- Tap “Enter Details Manually”.
- Input “wbg.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com” into the “SM-DP+” Address field.
- Paste the Activation code provided to you and click “Next”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Select your main SIM for the Default Line and the Saily eSIM for Mobile Data.
- Return to the Saily app to confirm the installation is complete.
- Once the main screen shows the eSIM is installed, ensure it is activated before traveling.
