How to check if your iOS device is carrier-locked
You can check if your iOS device is eSIM compatible by following the steps below:
- Go to your phone settings:
- Select general:
- Press about and scroll down:
- If the SIM lock appears next to the carrier lock, your iPhone is locked. If there are no SIM restrictions, then you can use Saily eSIM on your iOS device.

Alternatively, check if your iOS device is eSIM compatible by following the steps below:
- Go to settings:
- Press on the mobile service (It might be called cellular on some iPhone devices):
- Select the mobile data:
- If the add eSIM option is visible, then your iOS device is not carrier-locked, and you use Saily eSIM.
How to check if your Android device is carrier-locked
NOTE: Android devices that are not Samsung may have different setting names.
You can check if your Android device is eSIM compatible by following the steps below:

- Press on connections:
- Select mobile networks:
- Select network operators:
- If your Android displays other networks and you can choose them, then it is not locked, and you can use Saily eSIM on it. If you can't see any other networks, your device is carrier-locked.
