How do Saily phone number minutes and billing work?

Introduction

Saily phone number uses a minute-based package system for voice calls. Minutes in your Saily phone number package are consumed by both outgoing and incoming calls. For example, if you purchase a 10-minute package, those 10 minutes are shared across all calls you make and all calls you receive.

NOTE: This is a key difference from some traditional mobile plans. Before purchasing a package, make sure you are aware that incoming calls will also draw from your available minutes.

When does billing start?

Billing and minute consumption begin only when the other party answers the call and the voice channel is opened. You are not charged from the moment you initiate a call - if the call goes unanswered, no minutes are deducted from your package.

How are calls to my Saily number billed for the caller?

Because Saily phone number provides a US-based phone number, anyone calling your Saily number from a local carrier for example, a Telia or other Lithuanian carrier user - will be charged according to their own carrier's rates for calls made to the United States. This means the caller is billed at an international rate (e.g., Lithuania -> USA), regardless of where either party is physically located.

NOTE: Since tariffs vary between carriers, callers should check with their own provider for the applicable international rate before dialing a Saily number.
