A Saily phone number is an optional add-on that gives you a real, US-based wireless phone number alongside your Saily data eSIM. It lets you make and receive voice calls and send SMS messages, in addition to your mobile data plan.
The Saily phone number is designed for travelers and Global plan users who need full mobile communication capabilities (calling and texting) on top of standard data connectivity.
How do calls work with a Saily phone number?
Saily phone number plans cover local calls only; they don't support international calls. If you're visiting multiple countries, the Global plan lets you make calls in any supported country you travel to, so you don't need to buy a separate plan for each destination.
Because Saily phone number issues a US-based number, callers dialing it from their local carrier may be charged international rates for calls to the United States, depending on their carrier's tariff.
What features are not supported by Saily phone number?
Saily phone number does not support the following:
- MMS: Multimedia messages cannot be sent or received.
- Premium-rate numbers: SMS and calls to short numbers (e.g., 1482) are not supported.
- Call forwarding: You can't forward calls to or from your Saily number.
