Sometimes, your Android device might have trouble establishing a network connection. If you are unable to connect to the internet while using Saily eSIM, try troubleshooting the issue by following the steps below:
Check if the plan was activated
To ensure your plan is active, follow the steps in our How to Activate Your Saily eSIM article.
Disconnect from the Wi-Fi
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Turn off Wi-Fi:
Check if eSIM is enabled and chosen as the preferred
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Press on the SIM manager:
- Select your eSIM (in this case, eSIM 1) and toggle it to the on position:
- Now tap on mobile data:
- Ensure that your Saily eSIM (in that case, eSIM 1) is selected.
Check if Data Roaming is enabled.
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Select mobile networks:
- Make sure that data roaming is enabled:
Reboot your Android device
- Press and hold the power or power button + volume down to access the power off menu.
- Alternatively, hold the power button until the device restarts to force a reboot.
Disable 5G settings
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Select mobile networks:
- Tap the eSIM you wish to configure:
- Select the preferred network type:

Unselect 5G and choose the 4G or 3G option:
Select the Network Operator manually
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Select mobile networks:
- Select the network operators:
- Select your network provider. If no such option exists, please get in touch with our Customer Support Agents.
Enable and disable Flight Mode
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Turn the flight mode on:
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Turn the flight mode off.
Configure APN (Access Point Name) settings
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Click on connections:
- Select mobile networks:
- Select access point names:
- Tap + or add while you have your eSIM selected:
- Enter the details in the name and APN fields by following the steps below.
- Input wbdata in the name field and press ok:
- For APN, input wbdata as well:
- Leave other fields blank.
- Tap the three dots in the top right:
- Then press save:
- After saving, select the new APN to enable it:
Reset your network settings.
- Use the Android search feature to search for settings:
- Type reset in the search bar and select reset Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetooth (or reset network settings). Alternatively, scroll down and choose general management:
- Select reset:
- Tap reset network settings:
- Tap reset settings:
NOTE: After completing a network settings reset, all network-related settings will be restored to factory defaults—this includes data roaming, APN, and other settings. We highly recommend checking all network settings relevant to your daily use and re-enabling/reconfiguring them afterward.
