How will Saily’s maintenance affect your eSIM services?

Saily will undergo maintenance on September 15, 2024, from 21:00 GMT to 24:00 GMT. During this time, you may not be able to purchase or top up any Saily plans or activate an eSIM. However, if you purchase and activate your eSIM prior to the maintenance, you should not feel any disruptions.

This maintenance is required so we can improve our services based on user feedback. To ensure that you’re not affected by the maintenance, please purchase and activate your eSIM before 21:00 GMT on September 15.

If you aren’t able to activate the eSIM before the maintenance period, please wait until it is over and only then follow the steps for Saily’s eSIM activation, as our activation system will be down during that time.

Steps to ensure your Saily’s eSIM activates

In order for the Saily eSIM to activate automatically prior to or after the maintenance period, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have an internet connection available;
2. Install the eSIM on your device;
3. Enable roaming on your device.

Enabling data roaming for Saily’s eSIM activation

To enable data roaming on your device, follow the section below according to your needs.

Enabling Data Roaming on iOS Devices

To enable data roaming on an iOS device, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings;
2. Access Cellular Settings: Tap on Cellular or Mobile Data - this depends on your region;
3. Tap on Cellular Data Options or Mobile Data Options;
4. Switch the Data Roaming toggle to active. 

Enabling Data Roaming on Android Devices

To enable data roaming on an Android device, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings;
2. Find Wireless & Networks, Connections, or a similar option - this depends on your device;
3. Tap on Mobile Networks, Cellular Networks, or a similar option.
4. Find the Data Roaming option (this might be under a submenu like Roaming or International Roaming);
5. Switch the Data Roaming toggle to active.
